" WORKERS TO BE DISMISSED Gioiosani Locride SPA ENVIRONMENT FOR REVENGE AGAINST THE TOWN OF AUDITORS AND GIOIOSA are a scandal POLITICO. LA GIUNTA MAZZA HA GRAVI RESPONSABILITA’, SERVE UNA REAZIONE FORTE DELLA POLITICA LOCALE ”.
A Gioiosa Ionica, dal 1 Gennaio 2010, il servizio di raccolta e smaltimento rifiuti passa – per il tramite di regolare gara d’appalto – dalla società mista Locride Ambiente Spa alla società privata Zeta Emme Sas. Questo l’antefatto di un’indecente sconfitta della democrazia, della buona politica, del diritto del lavoro.

The second company, Zeta Emme Sas, after winning the race with a very substantial decrease (to the point of discouraging the participation of other competitors, obviously starting from Locride Spa Environment), began his service with the community Gioiosani , offering an embarrassing and unacceptable performance in the eyes of all citizens (except for "Pontius Pilate" by the local administration): migrants without uniform and without any equipment, organic employee unknown to the offices of the town and supposedly "black", recycling almost non-existent, and so on. All issues that the local club PRC denounced and publicly contested, both in the public Gioiosani both to the city council of the town, all issues that respond to a specific logic, ie a reduction of labor costs exasperated that alone could ( and able) to ensure the competitiveness of a company like Zeta Emme Sas.

Where were the Mayor and his bat came when it was necessary to defend from the point of view procedurale i livelli occupazionali, oltre gli slogan e gli annunci di giornale buoni solo per ingannare l’opinione pubblica? Dov’erano il Sindaco Mazza e la sua Giunta quando il Consorzio di funzioni di Locride Ambiente continuava ad attardarsi in nomine varie (peraltro, ad oggi nemmeno effettuate) invece di contestare al socio privato la violazione dei diritti dei lavoratori e della comunità gioiosana? Dov’erano il Sindaco Mazza e la sua giunta quando le due aziende, invece di provare a risolvere la vertenza, si rimpallavano inutili e ipocrite responsabilità scaricandone le conseguenze sui lavoratori? Dov’erano il Sindaco Mazza e la sua Giunta quando la Zeta Emme Sas utilizzava lavoratori in nero male equipaggiati, in spregio delle più elementari regole vigenti?
Serve uno scatto della politica. E noi, come PRC, intendiamo svolgere per intero il nostro ruolo e la nostra parte. Perché non è normale che il Consorzio di funzioni, che partecipa alla società mista come parte pubblica, non sia in grado di dire nulla sulle vicende gestionali della Spa. Perché non è normale che una società (Locride Ambiente Spa) non partecipi ad una gara indetta da un socio (il Comune di Gioiosa Ionica). Perché non è normale che il passaggio di un appalto pubblico da una ditta all’altra condanni al licenziamento alcuni lavoratori.
